The head of the department – <\/strong>a Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor Saule Laikovna Kassenova.<\/p>\n Professor Kassenova S. L. is the author of educational materials – “Internal Diseases: for students of the Faculty of Medicine and Prevention”(Almaty, “Zhazushi”, 184 p., 2005; 2009), \u00abInternal Diseases: for students of medico-preventive faculty\u00bb (Almaty:” Zhazushi “, 184 p., 2008; 2009),” Health of the elderly “(2013).<\/p>\n She is one of the first researchers in Kazakhstan of endothelial dysfunction in arterial hypertension and the author of the monograph of the same name (2003).In 2010, famous cardiologist Professor Thomas F. Luscher, MD, FR CP invited her to the University Clinic in Zurich (Switzerland), where she was awarded an honorary title of Visiting Clinician and Scientist in Cardiology at the University Hospital Zurich<\/strong>.<\/p>\n Certificate of Visiting Clinician and Scientist<\/strong>, issued to Professor Kassenova S.L. at the University Clinic in Zurich (Switzerland) in 2010.<\/p>\n In 2014 Prof\u0435ssor Kassenova S.L. was awarded the Silver Medal of KazNMU \u0430fter S.D.
