The first head of department was professor B. I. Ilyin-Kakuev- who was student of post-graduated of MGU.<\/p>\n

Since 1984 and on the present over chair the honored worker of science \u0420\u041a, the academician of preventive medicine, the honors pupil of public health services of the USSR and R\u041a, the state grant-aided student R\u041a for outstanding the contribution to a science supervises, the doctor of medical sciences professor Pleshkova S.M.<\/p>\n

Department of biochemistry are\u00a0 teaching: chemistry<\/strong> for students of\u00a0 1 course faculty of general\u00a0 medicine, stomathology, general\u00a0 helth care, medical \u2013prophylactic faculty and biochemistry<\/strong><\/p>\n

The state of department include 22 persons: the head of department-1, professor -1, seniors – 13, senior teachers- 3, teachers- 4. The department of biochemistry makes huge methodical\u00a0 works: the last 10years was published: 29 educational works and 2practice works on kazak and russian\u00a0 language. Scientific\u00a0 – technical programs of\u00a0 university\u00a0 \u00abThe model of antiage for a long activity life for old age persons \u00bb. The biochemistry department works scientific students works on russian and kazak\u00a0 department, every years\u00a0 the\u00a0 biochemistry\u00a0 Olympiad is conducted.
