With the direct participation of the professor and associate professors of the department, International and Republican Congresses, congresses, scientific and practical conferences, seminars, published about 1020 articles, 758 theses in various collections. A textbook was published in the Kazakh language “Jelly Medicine”, 38 teaching aids, 15 of them in the official language used in the educational process.
\nFor the period of 1997 through 2017, the staff of the department commissioned the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan to prepare a Standard Program for the course of LUTS, a Standard Program for interns, equipment for demonstration materials, models, phantoms for practicing practical skills. In May 1998, a cycle of advanced training for practical doctors was organized, in 1999 – the FPK for teachers. Under the guidance of the faculty of the department, research work is conducted with students. Since 1998 the student group “Eskulap” has been working at the department, its participants take an active part in the scientific life of not only the university, but also other universities of the RK, repeatedly becoming prize-winners of conferences (in Poland, Germany, Lithuania, Hungary). At the department, more than 1,200 doctors from the National Cancer Institute, polyclinics, and outpatient clinics from various regions of Kazakhstan were trained. Outreach cycles were conducted in Uralsk, Taraz, Shymkent, Kyzyl-Orda and other cities of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The staff of the department conducts a large medical and consulting work in the basic medical institutions. Employees of the department are members of the Internal Audit Commission, the Medical Control Commission, the methodological councils of the substations of the LUTS, the city cardiology center. During the existence of the department, the employees were awarded with prizes: “Honored worker of public health”, gratitude of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan (2001, 2006), Minister of Education and Science, Doctor of the Year.<\/p>\n

\nprofessor Turlanov Kuanysh Mesamgaliyevich.
\nParticipated in the improvement and improvement of the quality of the educational process at the university by participating in the development of the State Educational Standard, standard programs for the professional development of the pedagogical staff of medical and pharmaceutical educational organizations, internal diseases, LUTS. Specialist in the field of pulmonology, cardiology, geriatrics, emergency medicine. Has prepared 13 candidates of medical sciences, 6 doctors of medical sciences. Author of more than 450 scientific publications. He was marked with the breastplates: “Kazakhstan Densauly\u049b sa\u049btau \u0456\u0441\u0456\u043d\u0456\u04a3 \u04af\u0437\u0434\u0435\u0433\u0456\u043d\u0435”, “Honored Worker of Education”, “For merits in the development of science of the RK”, thanks of the President of the RK (2001, 2005), Minister of Health of the RK. The doctor of the year in 2005. He was awarded the Golden Stethoscope of KazNMU (1996), Honorary Diplomas of the University, Yekbek Kairatkeri, Altyn dyryder.<\/p>\n
At the moment 6 professors, 6 assistant professors and 13 assistants work at the department, two of them are masters of public health.<\/p>\n
