The General Medicine faculty was founded in 2007 in connection with introducing new Educational state standards 2006. It\u2019s considered to be one of the leading faculties in the university. Realization of the faculty and the university development strategy is carried out at 14 chairs. At the faculty there were implemented problem\u00a0 oriented studies, elective courses of communicative skills, there was organized a module interdiscipline approach to studying course, working off and acquiring practical skills\u00a0 and manipulations in simulation center. New standard and working programs for \u201cGeneral medicine\u201d major have been worked out at the chairs of the department. The students of the department are holders of president, rector scholarships and scholarships, named after Manshuk Mametova, the hero of Soviet Union and also \u201cTil kamkory\u201d.
