Employees of the department, as well as the department as a whole, can confidently talk about the weighty contribution to the development of pediatric surgery in the USSR. Published in the central publishing houses such monographs as: “Brain concussion in children”, “Brain brain contusion in children”, “Purulent inflammatory diseases of the lungs in children”, “Intraosseous washing with osteomyelitis in children.” For many years, the tactics of treatment under these pathologies were formed. One of them in the Soviet Union, the staff of the department tackled the problem of burns of the esophagus and its treatment of rehabilitation of children. This was a real breakthrough in pediatric surgery. The present generation of the staff of the department continues the glorious traditions. Priority issues are the pathology of the hepatobiliary zone, congenital malformations, acquired diseases of the genitourinary system. In recent years, under the conditions of the University Aksay Clinic, the study of pathogenesis and treatment of children from scoliotic spinal deformity, introduced innovative operational technologies and rehabilitation of children has been started and is successfully continuing.<\/p>\n
