Department of Microbiology, Virology, Immunology was established in 1932. The founder and first head was Professor P.F.Belikov.\u00a0In subsequent years the department was headed by Professor I.A.Sutin, Professor N.A.Bulanov, Professor E.I.Demihovsky, Professor D.F.Tsimbalist, Associate professor Y.S.Linetskaya, Professor E.I.Shtikkel, Professor K.A.Makirov and Professor A.L.Kotova \u2013 laureate of State scholarship \u201cFor outstanding contribution to the development of science and technology, the member of \u201cThe Gold fund of Asfemdiyarov Kazakh national medical university\u201d.<\/p>\n
Since 2002 till the present the head of the department is MD, professor B.A.Ramazanova \u2013 \u201cThe best teacher of high school for 2012\u201d MES RK, winner of the \u201cGold Medal named Ahmet Baitursynov\u201d.<\/p>\n
Department of Microbiology, Virology, Immunology is a one of departments of Asfendiyarov Kazakh national medical university. The department currently employs 20 teachers: 4 professors, 5 associate professors, 4 senior lecturer, 7 teachers.<\/p>\n
Edited by B.A. Ramazanova issued and approved in the Ministry of Education and Science RK 1st textbook “Medical Microbiology” in the Kazakh language for students of medical universities. Released its electronic version.<\/p>\n
During this period 79 dissertations were prepared. The nine monographs, 5 books, 50\u00a0training manuals\u00a0(in Kazakh and Russian languages) and 8 collections of\u00a0tests were published. Received\u00a030\u00a0invention certificates, and 20\u00a0certificates of\u00a0rationalization proposals. In recent years, published more than 150 scientific articles. The main scientific directions of the department are questions of human normal microflora and dysbacteriosis, intestinal infections, nosocomial infections, problems of clinical microbiology. Currently, as part of the international scientific project and multicenter studies and research projects MES, MHSD, KazNMU priority research activities of the department are questions\u00a0 vaccination, parasitology, antibiotic resistance of microorganisms, of the study of genes polymorphisms of pathogens.<\/p>\n
During the year of study at the Department works the student research group. Members of the SSG (\u041d\u0421\u041a), of the Department took prizes in the university and international conferences.\u00a0Only in recent years, 17 students won prizes. According to the results Student research group released 62 articles.<\/p>\n
