Employees of the department actively participate in the organization and conduct of congresses, conferences, including the Republican and International level, participated and made presentations at international scientific and practical conferences in Spain, Budapest (Hungary), Bulgaria, Lisbon (Portugal), the “Second World Congress on Consensus in Pediatrics and Child Health” Germany (Kelen) Italy, Belgium, UAE Dubai.

Professor Musaev A.T. works in the expert commission at JSC “National Center for State Scientific and Technical Expertise” as an expert for conducting state scientific and technical expertise, scientific and scientific and technical projects submitted within the framework of competitions for grant funding of scientific research and reports on them and the Science Committee of the Ministry of Education and Science RK.

Grant from the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan for project No. AR 0513460 “Mechanisms of adaptation of cell membranes and immunity when using freeze-dried saumal in patients with hepatitis C.” Intra-university grant for scientific research in the field of medicine and healthcare “The state of cellular immunity and intestinal microbiome in patients with COVID 19 when using Saumal.”

Under the leadership of the teaching staff of the department, research work with students is carried out. Since 1998, the student circle “Aesculapius” has been fruitfully working at the department, whose participants take an active part in the scientific life of not only the university, but also other universities of the Republic of Kazakhstan, repeatedly becoming winners of olympiads and conferences (in Poland, Germany, Lithuania, Hungary, Dubai, Indonesia ).

The teaching staff are the scientific supervisors of residents and master’s students.
