The department, together with the National Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan, law enforcement agencies, medical organizations at the republican, faculty and department levels, conducts various educational activities in the state, Russian and foreign languages: meetings, disputes, excursions, reading contests and others. All of them have cognitive value and contribute to the development of creative abilities and broadening the horizons of students.

On September 11, 2020, an online event dedicated to the celebration of the languages of the peoples of Kazakhstan was organized by teachers of the department of youth policy, the department of social support for students, the implementation of cultural and creative projects and teachers of the department of language disciplines. Associate professor of the department T.K. Zaysanbayev took part in the “Soz kiesi” program on Kazakh radio, on the “Shalkar” program and shared his views on the etymology of some obsolete words in the Kazakh language (24.09.2020).
