From 2010 to 2015 years at the department were conducted scientific and research studies on the study of endothelial dysfunction in patients with diabetes mellitus of young age (assistant Zhumanov BM), searching for ways to improve the health of the rural population (associate professor Krasnova SA). Based on the results were published 22 articles, 2 patents were received, reported at the international level (in Delhi, India – assistant Omarova Kh.S.), 1 candidate was defended and 1 doctoral thesis was prepared.
Since 2015 conducting a search work underway on an intra-university grant “Development of differential approaches to the therapy of chronic viral hepatitis based on the role of HCV and HBV in the pathogenesis of endocrine pathology.”
One of the important aspects of the university’s scientific activity is the development of new technologies and the introduction of the achievements of medical science in practical health care and the educational process. Employees of the department received the acts of introducing the achievements of medical science in the practice of health care on new methods of diagnosis.
