Educational work of the Department of Anesthesiology and Intensive Care №1
The educational work of the Department of Anesthesiology and Intensive Care Unit No. 1 is an integral part of the educational process and is carried out in accordance with the concept of educational activities of the university, the regulatory documents of the school and the requirements of educational programs. The main purpose of educational work is the formation of high professional, moral and personal qualities necessary for the implementation of medical activities among undergraduate students and interns.
Educational work at the department is systematic and planned, covers all students and is implemented in close relationship with educational, clinical, scientific and extracurricular activities.
Organization of educational work and the role of advisors
The Department of Anesthesiology and Intensive Care Unit No. 1 has three advisors who carry out educational, advisory and organizational work with undergraduate students and interns:
- lecturer Turan A.K.;
- lecturer Inerbayeva-Begimova M.S.;
- assistant Yermekbai A.A.
Advisors provide constant support to students, provide methodological and advisory assistance, promote the successful adaptation of students to the educational process and clinical practice, as well as the formation of professional, communicative and social competencies.
The activities of advisors are aimed at creating a favorable educational and educational environment, forming students’ responsible attitude to learning, observing academic discipline and making an informed choice of a professional path.
The main directions of educational work
The educational work of the Department of Anesthesiology and Intensive Care Unit No. 1 is carried out in the following main areas:
- Professional and moral education
The formation of professional responsibility, medical ethics and deontology is a priority area of educational activity. During training sessions, clinical reviews and educational conversations, issues of medical duty, humane treatment of patients, compliance with standards of professional behavior and medical secrecy are considered.

Events are held aimed at forming an active civic position, respect for the history, culture and traditions of the country, as well as for the social significance of the medical profession. Thematic discussions and discussions dedicated to state and commemorative dates are organized.

Teachers of the department and advisors carry out explanatory work on compliance with the principles of academic integrity, prevention of corruption, compliance with internal regulations and standards of professional conduct. As part of the educational work, explanatory and preventive work is carried out aimed at forming students’ responsible attitude to their own health, preventing bad habits and promoting a healthy lifestyle, which is especially important for future medical professionals.
Forms and methods of educational work implementation
The educational work of the department is carried out in the following forms:
- advising hours and curatorial meetings;
- individual and group educational conversations;
- discussion of clinical situations, taking into account ethical and deontological aspects;
- participation of students and interns in scientific, educational and educational events;
- Awareness-raising and preventive measures.
All forms of educational activities are integrated into the educational process and are implemented during lectures and practical classes, clinical practice, as well as during extracurricular activities.
Participation of the faculty of the department
The teaching staff of the Department of Anesthesiology and Intensive Care Unit No. 1 takes an active part in educational work, forming among students a respectful attitude towards the profession of a doctor, patients and colleagues. Teachers demonstrate by personal example high standards of professional ethics, responsibility and discipline.
The department ensures continuity and consistency of educational work, creating conditions for the comprehensive development of the personality of the future doctor and the training of competent, socially responsible and highly moral specialists in the field of anesthesiology and intensive care.
